  8. Sir Hangman requires a 386/486 CPU, Windows 3.1 or later, a hard disk and mouse, plus a 
  9. minimum of 2 MB of RAM and 4 MB of hard disk space, and VGA or better graphics

  13. Thank you for trying Sir Hangman and for using shareware. Shareware is an excellent way 
  14. for you to test new programs without paying for them in advance. However, shareware 
  15. software is not free. After testing the program, you're required to pay for it and register 
  16. if you continue to use it. By paying for the shareware programs you use, you help keep 
  17. this company and other companies alive and creating software you can try before you buy.  
  18. Please register all shareware programs you use regularly!

  20. This is the unregistered version of Sir Hangman 1.0.  Sir Hangman is a shareware program. 
  21. You may try this copy of the program for a period not to exceed 30 days to determine whether 
  22. or not it is suitable for your needs. After that time, if you continue to use the program, 
  23. you must register your copy with the author. To register, use the "Registration" command 
  24. in the "Help" menu to fill out and print the registration form. The Registration fee for 
  25. this program is $20 plus SH.

  27. Limitations-The shareware version of Sir Hangman has a registration reminder screen that 
  28. displays at startup after the 30 day evaluation has expired.  In addition, there is only 
  29. four subject dictionaries with 300 words and phrases.  The registered version contains  
  30. 12 subjects with over 1000 words and phrases.  However, even with the un-registered version 
  31. you can create your own subject files using the "Edit or Create" menu option.

  33. You can also register with a Visa or MasterCard by calling Psl at (800) 242-4775 and 
  34. request product #14358. All orders incur a $4 U.S. ($6 outside U.S.) shipping and handling 
  35. fee for each order, regardless of how many programs are ordered. Ssorg Software programs may 
  36. also be registered on CompuServe in the SWREG forum. Registrations will be charged to your 
  37. CompuServe account.

  39. Registered users receive the very latest version of the program, a printed manual, automatic 
  40. notification of major upgrades, and support. In addition, when you register, you'll receive 
  41. 12 subjects with over 1000 words and phrases. Registered users are entitled to unlimited free 
  42. support by E-mail.

  45. of the shareware versions of this program, but only under the terms described in the 
  46. VENDOR.DOC file included with this copy of the program. All commercial distributors MUST

  73. INSTALLATION

  75. 1.  If Windows is not running, start it. Then, from the Program Manager, click on Run under 
  76.     the file menu.
  77.  
  78. 2.  Enter the drive and "Setup.exe" in the command line (i.e. "A:\SETUP>EXE").
  79.  
  80. 3.  Press <Enter> or click OK to start the automatic installation.  You will be prompted 
  81.     for all information required.

  83. 4.  Once the program is installed you can click on "Sir Hangman Help" for information 
  84.     on running the game.

  86. Note - After installing the game you can customize the game for you PC.  Using the options 
  87. menu, you can select sound options, keyboard configuration, and animation.  If you have
  88. a sound board you can even set what "wav" files to play for different events.

  90. Un-installing Sir Hangman
  91. If you ever need to un-install Sir Hangman, simply click on the "Remove Sir Hangman" icon in 
  92. the program group.  Please use caution when running this un-install, other programs installed 
  93. after Sir Hangman may be using some of the same DLLs and VBXs as Sir Hangman.
